Help us preserve your Sculpture GardenTHE SCULPTURE GARDEN IS BEING LOVED TO DEATH.
One of Minnesota's most beloved parks and a dynamic symbol of the state, the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden needs your help. After 22 years and more than 7.2 million visitors, the Sculpture Garden's infrastructure has deteriorated and some of its plant life is at the end of its natural life cycle.
The Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board, with the full support of the Walker Art Center, will continue to pursue state bonding to repair and renovate this unique state asset. Preservation efforts will help improve the Sculpture Garden's long-term energy conservation, safety and accessibility.

THANK YOU!
Despite the legislature's recommendation of $2 million toward the project in the 2010 bonding bill, Governor Pawlenty line-item vetoed the Sculpture Garden before the bill's passage. Efforts are already underway to secure funding from a future request. Many thanks to the thousands of Minnesotans who stepped forward to show their support for the legislative bonding request in 2010!
