Close the "LLC Loophole"

Action Alert
Close the "LLC Loophole"
Tell the sub-committee to schedule a hearing

Across the state we’re seeing more factory farm corporations exploit the "LLC loophole".  This loophole allows corporate agriculture to build multiple small and medium factory farms, one right after another under different LLCs to avoid manure management regulations and separation distance requirements from places like homes, schools, and parks.

Senator David Johnson introduced a bill that closes part of the loophole but the sub-committee has not scheduled a hearing yet.  Senators Edler, Shipley, and Kinney are on the sub-committee.  Help us strengthen the bill by closing the full loophole and get a hearing on the bill.
