After adjourning over the weekend, the Kansas State House and Senate are back in session. As we told you last week in this alert, we are so close to defunding Common Core! Please keep the calls and e-mails coming. Your efforts will make a difference.
Below, you will find e-mail addresses for the House and Senate leaders that we must pressure. Please use the provided talking points to e-mail each of these members urging them to defund Common Core in Kansas.
Then, use this e-mail tool to send a message to your personal State Representative and State Senator.
TOMORROW, a group of activists will be meeting in Topeka at the Capitol. There is no official rally or event, this is simply an effort to go into offices and lobby to defund Common Core. The organizers are planning to arrive at the Capitol between 9 and 10am.
