Producer and director Michael Smith, of the Foundation For Autism Information and Research, and Legislative Director of the Autism Action Network, focuses his many years of advocacy and media production on the autism epidemic, and the challenge to meet the needs of this growing population, and why advocacy is now more important than ever.

Autism: The Missing Piece features lawmakers, who are also parents of children with autism, on the ongoing struggle for legislation, research and services. Leading researchers cut through the noise to what is really going on with the out-of-control increase in autism rates, costs and co-occurring medical conditions.

We are inviting all New York state legislators and staff to attend, and we encourage everyone to ask your elected officials to attend.

Join us for Autism Advocacy Day at the New York State Capitol before the screening. With your attendance and support we can and will make a difference. We look forward to seeing you in Albany.
